Hey guys
Hope you have been enjoying the summer, going to skills camps or just giving your body a rest so when you start back you’re ready to go hard or go home.
If like me, your obsessed with cheer and love watching cheerleading documentaries, your in luck.
I have found this cheerleading documentary called Inside Cheerleader
This documentary is about All-Star Cheerleading. This originally aired in the fall on 1999 on the Discovery Channel. It follows two all girls teams and 2 co-ed teams from the gyms of Cheer Athletics, Gym Tyme, and World Cup as they prepare and compete at the 1999 NCA National Championships in Dallas,TX.
In this documentary you see the world cup shooting star’s before they became the famous team they are today. In this documentary they are the under dogs and Cheer Athletics are the team everyone wants to be and they know it.
Watching this you feel like you’re watching a part of cheer history. In one of the scenes you hear one of the girls talking about the hardest skill in cheerleading which at this point is an arabesque double down which is a standard for most teams nowadays
The cheerleading skills may have gotten harder but the one thing that hasn’t changed is the passion. The passion people have for cheerleading has lived on throughout the ages and it so nice to see
The Twinkles :Chasing Perfection
Meet The Twinkles the World Cup Shooting Stars youth team . They are competitive cheerleading’s elite team aged between 8-11 year-old girls.Competing at the highest level for their age group. They mix tumbling, modern cheerleading and precise choreography to create amazing two-and-a-half minute routine that seems unbelievable for athletes this age. Follow them through the season – as routines are built and re-built, as they balance a grueling schedule with family life, as The Twinkles chase perfection. A Star-Ledger video production. Written, filmed, narrated and edited by Nyier Abdou.
This cheer documentary is amazing, I have never been so jealous of an eight year old in my life lolololol. As soon as you finish watching this documentary you want to watch it again. When watching this documentary you can’t believe that these children are between the ages of 8-11 years . You watch their coaches drill them and push them to the limit and these kids want to be pushed. All-star Cheerleading really is these parents, coaches and children lives. If there are not training, they are having private lessons two to three times a week tumble classes it’s like they have a part time job.
I am so inspired by these girls and after watching this all you will be saying is
“I think you’re looking for the twinkle girls”
