Our unique story of CFHTT
Caroline is the founder of Cheer From Head To Toe (CFHTT), one of the UK’s longest-running cheerleading resources.
With more than 20 years of experience in the sport as an athlete, coach and industry commentator, Caroline has dedicated much of her career to helping people better understand UK cheerleading. As both a national title-winning athlete and coach, she experienced first-hand how difficult it could be to find accurate, UK-specific information, educational resources and meaningful discussion about the sport.
When CFHTT was established in 2011, Caroline set out to create the resource she wished had existed throughout her own cheerleading journey. What began as a platform to share information and support coaches has evolved into a trusted educational resource, providing industry analysis, competition guidance, historical insight and practical resources for the UK cheerleading community.
I started cheerleading at University where I fell In love with the sport. I love the physical element the stunts, tumbles, jumps and dance but it is the community element I truly fell in love with. Before I started cheerleading I used to competitive swim which can be quite isolating but cheerleading was a team sport. Anyone could be a cheerleader and everyone had a unique role which is important to the success of the overall routine.
My cheer team became my expanded family and they had my heart.

A dramatic shift
During my time at university, my love for cheer grew. After university, I started coaching my university team which gave me the desire to learn more about all aspects of the sport. I read every rule and coach’s book possible and I couldn’t get enough.
I then joined the All-Star team and continued coaching. Allstar Cheer blew my mind.
I was so inspired by the amazing teams I saw and wanted to be just like them. Desperate to learn more I went online and to my disappointment I couldn’t find anything.
I was so frustrated I couldn’t understand why there wasn’t a website about this already because I knew so many people felt the way I did.

The aha moment
I knew there was a demand for this type of info because my friend would always come to me for everything about cheerleading which shoes to buy, and competition to attend the best coaching course I was a fountain of knowledge because I was an athlete and Coach I understood the all the pain point and because I was a coach I created a solution to these problems because my athlete and myself need solutions. I understood that the UK cheer community wanted accurate and informative information and the click of their fingertips and that is what I gave them. I gave them reassurance and guidance and showed them how to excel the correct way.
Making an impact
The evolution of CFHTT has been astonishing we are now a key member of the UK cheer community. Thousands of people flock to our digital platform daily because we have become a trusted resource.
We have collaborated with BBC Sport Hour, Team Wales, Team Scotland, Team Ireland and Team England.
We have created a documentary for Team England freestyle pom and Team England AA
Attended events by Unity Allstar, Coventry, Legacy Cheer and Dance
We have worked with Elite cheer brands like Varsity, excel cheer and Primacy Bows to name a few.
The Mission
When I first started Blogging I wasn’t from a high-profile team and didn’t know anyone of influence but I had a wealth of knowledge. A passion to show people how amazing this sport was and a desire to show people how they could reach their full potential.
CFHTT is for anyone was wants to learn and excel in the sport. Our goal is to provide educational content and resources that help you to excel
