F.C.I: Future Cheer Investigate

Hey guys

Future Cheer nationals are approaching fast and today 06/06/12 they have just announced their new scheme Future cheer investigate.

This scheme is separated into three sections

Pre-game

On Friday the 29th of june  cheer programmes  across the country have been offer time slots between 1pm- 9pm.  In this time slot you will be allowed to perform your whole routine on a full competition floor. Future Cheer Investigate aka FCI will watch your whole routine or just one section. Following on from that their will inform you if you have any legality problems  and the best way to benefit  your programme to reach your full potential on the score sheet, at a charge of £80 per team.                                                                                           After this you will receive a colour code for the weekend as follows:.

GREEN = your team is

Cleared for the weekend as

every skill is deemed LEGAL

YELLOW = your team did not

demonstrate the entire routine,

however what our FCI team

did see was LEGAL

RED = your team had an

ILLEGAL skill. (You will be

able to fix with an FCI official

on the warm-up floor)

WHITE = your team did not

take advantage of Pre-Game.

STEP 4:

5 min. Transition to Warm-up Area

STEP 5:

5 min. on Stunt Floor – giving you time

to run any stunts, pyramids or tosses

and make any changes to be made.

STEP 6:

5 min. on Warm-up Floor – FULL

Spring floor – giving you more time to

make any adjustments needed.

FCI Main Base

Section two

Main Base will be the central headquarters for you to pick up

your score sheets. They will allow you discuss your scores and verify

legality issues and questions. This service will be available throughout the whole competition at no additional cost to you as a cheer programme. FCI  investigators

will be Customer Service Specialist, Mediators, IASF Safety Certified and

Choreographer/Scoring Specialist. It is these FCI Investigators that will be

able to answer all questions, legality verification and have the ability to

approach the judges for scoring clarifications.

The FCI Notification Center

Section Three

Finally FCI notifications will be available to anyone team that receive a safety warning or infraction. your coach  will immediately receive a text message asking them to report to the FCI Main Base.

At FCI main base investigators give clarification and understanding of infractions and safety warning. Future cheer has produced this scheme so people have the opportunity to fix their routines for next day if you’re competing and to learn for

Over all I think this is a good idea but I don’t understand why this scheme was only made available now when Fc nationals is so close. To me it just seem, to add another stress to the coaches because you obviously would like to take advantage of pre-game  evaluation but people may not be available  because of the late notice.

I also hope in the future that future cheer will go back to making videos. It so annoying that you cannot have good quality videos of you and your favourite cheer teams, anymore.  I would also love for the judges to add commentary to videos because sometimes the score sheet is confusing.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Lastly, I want to sit and study my favourite teams’ technique and style and critique myself to see what I need to work on for next season

Love cheer from head to toe

See you all at nationals
