How the Worlds will run

Performance Order

Performance orders ( The order at which each team will perform their routine) for all divisions ( A division is category you team competes in e.g level 5 etc) will be randomly drawn within country groupings and published online or early to mid-April 2025.
Teams that advance to finals will perform in reverse order based on their ranking from the previous round. Results will be announced at the end of each division’s competition round.

Scoring

Keep in mind that each team will receive a raw score first, followed by a final score once any deductions have been applied. The final score is the one that truly matters, as it determines rankings and placements.
Scores do not carry over from one performance to the next. Updated Worlds score sheets are available online.

IASF Division Awards

  • Every team will receive a participation medal.
  • The top 10 teams in each division will receive trophies.
  • Athletes on teams placing first, second, or third will receive gold, silver, or bronze medallions.
  • First-place teams will also earn a championship banner, and each athlete who performed on the floor will receive a coveted Worlds champion ring.

IASF Nations Cup

Besides awarding the top 10 teams in each IASF division, the IASF will also recognize the highest-scoring team from each country in the IASF division finals, as part of the Nations Cup Championship.

Did you know?

In 2025, the UK and Ireland have once again shown a strong presence on the international world stage, with over 30 programs making the journey to compete. These teams represent a wide array of divisions, from Under-18 Level 5 to the highly competitive International Open Non-Tumbling Level 7. England leads the charge with powerhouse programs like EMCA ,Coventry Dynamite and Unity Allstars , each fielding multiple teams in various divisions. Wales is proudly represented by Gymfinity Allstars, and Stuntworx Elite flies the flag for Ireland.

One interesting insight is the incredible diversity and growth of the UK cheer scene. Unity Allstars has eight teams from two UK locations, including Leeds, which speaks to their expanding national reach. We also see a rise in coed and non-tumbling teams, highlighting the evolution of cheerleading beyond traditional formats and the UK’s growing adaptability to global trends.

Leading the charge after Unity Allstars is EMCA and Coventry dynamite. Who Each has four teams across various levels and divisions, showcasing their depth and versatility.

Globalisation of Cheerleading

In the past five years, we have observed the Globalisation of Cheerleading. The inclusion of Top Gun Allstars UK and Cheer and Dance Athletics Telford demonstrates UK talent. As they merge with a globally recognised brand. This suggests exciting developments for the future of allstar cheer in the UK. Overall, this UK and Irish delegation showcases incredible diversity and dynamism. It is clear that the spirit, skill, and ambition of these athletes are stronger than ever.
