As an outsider looking in, it seems they never thought they could lose, as they had the mightiest touch. I’ve always made a conscious effort to watch the USA team for inspiration and motivation, and they haven’t disappointed.
Then, in 2018, Team USA All Girl came second for the first time. The girls were visibly shocked by their defeat, and since then, Team USA All Girl Premier has fallen short to Team Finland.
Team USA All Girl has always said their greatest competition is themselves. While this is a great mindset, it’s always important to never underestimate your competitor, in my opinion.
This is why “Redemption: USA Cheer vs The World” follows Team USA All Girl Premier in a six-episode mini-series on their journey to reclaim their title as ICU World Champion and restate their ethos that they are the best in the world.
This documentary gives the world a realistic look into what it takes to be a cheerleader and the extra mile you have to push to be World Champion, which is no easy task.
It also shows how crucial it is to maintain team unity with strong leadership on this challenging journey for excellence.
Follow the blood, sweat, and tears of these talented ladies who push their bodies and minds to their physical limits because cheerleading and winning mean everything to them.
