This is why we love the cheer community.
So, after months of waiting, it was announced that Katie Leigh I was given the opportunity to design and create the 2017 Team Wales T-Shirt and Vest logo! This was a huge achievement for her, having her dream come true, being able to start her career as an artist so early .
Katie said “To think that we will be wearing this when we represent Wales in the ICU Dance and Cheer World Championship is amazing! I can’t thank Sport Cheer Wales enough for this amazing opportunity, I wouldn’t have been given the chance without them. I’m so excited to wear these in Florida along with all 4 Team Wales Teams! It’s mental to think that my small design idea turned into a teal life product that will literally be seen hundreds of people from all across the world! I’m grateful for everything cheerleading has done for me, and I’m glad that I’ve been able to give back, even if it was by designing a T-shirt and vest logo for my little country.
