The inaugural Cheer-fest 2016 at Level Up Academy!
A full day of stunting, tumbling and cheer training!
Hosted at Level Up Academy in Leeds, the region’s most fully equipped and modern training facility and led by a team of industry leading coaches you’re guaranteed to level up your skills!
Schedule
The day will consist of a series of clinics and workshops focused on improving your skills. These workshops will broadly be separated into stunts/baskets and tumbling, an open session where coaches will be on hand to help with individual skills and a guest workshop which will be announced soon! As everyone will have different skillsets, we will be teaching beginner skills as well as more advanced techniques with the opportunity of trying stunt skills up to level 5 and 6!
09:30-10:00 – Registration
10:00-12:00 – Stunts/Baskets
12:00-13:30 – Tumbling
13:30-14:00 – Lunch Break
14:00-15:00 – Guest Workshop TBA
15:00-17:00 – Open Gym
If the weather holds, we’ll also head to the local park and have a BBQ!
Coaching Team
Our coaching team will be led by John ‘Tats’ Harkins. Tats is a fully qualified cheer coach, and has coached and competed internationally, most recently competing at Worlds with Aviator Allstars B2 Stealth and Team England. Tats has many years of competing and coaching under his belt and is committed to raising the standard of UK cheerleading, we are thrilled to have him leading the sessions at Cheer-fest 2016!
We will have a number of assistant coaches on the day, all of which are fully qualified and experienced.
Event Details
This event is for athletes age 11+. You don’t have to come with a group or team, but it may be beneficial for you to come in your groups in order to make full use of the time. If you don’t have a group, please feel free to network on our Facebook event page before the event. Don’t be shy!
Please arrive on site in good time so that we can start the workshops promptly as registration forms will need to be filled in prior to attending.

We do have changing facilities, but they are limited so it is recommended to arrive ready to train.
Please make sure you have the correct training footwear and a drink as you will be worked hard! Refreshments will be available to buy during the day!

Tickets for this event are £30 per person.
VIP tickets are available for £40 which includes a limited edition Cheer-fest 2016 T shirt. Please let us know what size you want when you buy tickets! Sizes must be received before 25th May to guarantee getting your T shirt on the day.
Bringing a team? Team discounts are available. If you’re program is bringing more than 10 people, we will offer a discounted price of £25 per person, £35 with T shirt. Please email us at hello@golevelup.co.uk for discount details and to purchase tickets for a program.
There will be small amount of tickets available on the day at premium of £35
