CFHTT was sent some gorgeous bows by up and coming Bow company K L Bows.
K L Bows was created in March 2015 by Kristina Littlewood. After 10 months of creating and designing collections, they launched in December 2015.
K L Bows produces handmade cheerleading bows. Each bow is part of a themed collection designed and created by Kristina
We got sent two bows from the Sorbet and Aurora collection
Firstly let’s talk about the packaging. We know some people could care less about packaging, but for CFHTT it all part of the experience. The Bows came well protected. We open the purple plastic casing to discover a box cover in bubble wrap. Once tearing through the bubble wrap we could see the white Box cover with little printed jade bows and the K L Bows logo in the centre. Also the box had been secured shut with some glittery jade sellotape which we thought was so cute. Making the effort with the packaging, K L Bows has allowed the customer to have a premium experience and who doesn’t like feeling special!
Inside the Box were two Bows. The Blue Berry Bow from the Sorbet collection and the Caelus Bow from the Aurora Collection, just staring at us on a cushion paper bed. They were resting waiting for us to adore them and that we did.
The Caelus Bow is a White Bow with very sparkly rhinestones , which when they catch the light sparkles strikingly, it seems to be almost iridescent. The rhinestones have been arranged in a pattern on the bow and they vary in sizes from large too small. The Caelus bow is made of white Satin material which gives the bow a more luxurious look and feel. It also has a very durable white hair band attached. The reason we mention this is it’s important to have a strong hair band attach to your bow. The last thing you want is to be wearing your gorgeous bow and the band snaps.
The Blue Berry Bow is our favourite bow of the two. We just feel this bow is on another level. We love that this bow is different. They are so many companies doing rhinestones bows which are stunning and we still love rhinestone bow, but it nice to see something unique from a Bow company. We are impressed with this Bow because of the half pearls design. We love the intricate design detail on this bow and the pearlescent shimmer it gives off.
“Who would think to stick pearls on a bow? “But we love! It’s also sturdy. The bow is firm so once it’s in place you know it’s going to stay there. We love this bow because it’s different, striking and stands out in a crowd.
Overall these are two very gorgeous bows, reasonable price considering today competitive bow market. Caelus Bow retails and £25 and Blue Berry Bow at £35. CFHTT feel these would be perfect for presents for Birthdays and Valentine days etc.
We would say these are the kind of bows you would want to wear for all occasions and pin to your backpack and take selfies.
