Nfinity Titan review

On the 27th May Nfinity début they latest cheer shoes Titans  and the internet went crazy!  We published a picture of these shoes  on our website and our comment section when into overdrive. With comments like  “ Need these!”, “Want them.” and “They are lush.”

CFHTT are so excited to be reviewing the shoes everyone has been talking about.

The anticipation as we waited to receive these shoes from Excel Cheer Centre was intense. We couldn’t wait to get our hands on these shoes and give you guys every bit of detail allowing you to make the best informed decision possible.

 But first, let us introduce ourselves! Cheer From Head To Toe (CFHTT) came to life out of a pressing need: to fill the void of representation for the UK cheer community online. Excel Cheer Centre is a family run company based in North-West England.  In 2012 they became the official recognised European distributor for Nfinity. Excel Cheer Centre are the guys to go too if you need Nfinity Gear as they have the most update Nfinity Cheer gear in the whole of Europe.

The shoes arrived with next day delivery and had to be signed for. They were in a blue package marked fragile.  We ripped it open to have a look at these babies and we fell in love.

Inside each shoe was a cardboard insert to keep the shape of the shoes. They were so white and will be kept  that way because  they are pre-treated to prevent staining. The shoes are made of Jacquard materials which is perfect for cheerleaders because Jacquard  is recognized for its intricate woven patterns that is stretchy yet strong . Its great that Nfinity  have created a shoe that is functional and durable.  A shoe that will not tear after a few wears.

We love the cool and sleek look of the shoe and the bubble laces for a secure fit. They make you feel that your the  coolest kid on the block and that you can do anything. We couldn’t  get over how light they felt. The shoe weight 6.03z, that’s Lighter than Evolution which weight 6.05z.

We feel  these are the most functional and supportive shoe that Nfinity have made to date.

Right, enough about the appearance of the shoe, you want to know what it feels like!

The shoes feels so comfortable  and supportive to the ankle and heel.  The arch of the shoe is soft and comfortable and the heel is reinforced for support and comfort.

We love that you can pull the Velcro as tight or as lose as you want, to give that extra support.  We have worn these shoes several times and you forget that your wearing high tops. All you feel it that your feet are fully protected.

The shoes are especially effective for flyers with weak ankles or for flyers that roll their feet a lot while in the air. The firm sole and thicker front of the shoe allows bases  to grip the foot better and control the movement. Its also good for backs because it allows for them to have a strong grip on the flyers ankle and pull their ankle up which helps the flyer to stay stable in the air.

These shoes feel amazing to jump in because you barely feel like you’re wearing shoes and they give a good rebound off a sprung or dead floor. For all those people who are worried  that they wouldn’t be able to point their toes, you definitely can point your toes as the shoes are very flexible and move perfectly with your feet.

For all those tumble kings and queens out there, these are the shoes for you. The shoe is light and breathable  and has and impact heel platform which supports  you as you tumble across the mat.  The shoes absorb the impact of the landing equally allowing you to implement the skill effectively.

A worry of some cheer athletes is that the shoes may stand out a bit too much on the mat. We believe that these shoe are consistent with the slimline nature of the Nfinity brand and no way near as big as a traditional high top shoes ensuring that you remain consistent with your fellow cheerleaders.

we love the luxurious look of the case. The case is black and the straps are black with a red zip  which makes it look very effortlessly cool.

which we know is on the high end of cheer shoe scale  but what you are getting back is a shoe that allows you to perform to the peak of your ability without limits. Every year our sport is pushing the boundaries of what is possible and as a athletes you need shoes that can meet the demand of this sport and Titans sure do.
