Surrey Starlets have several competitive teams as well as recreational classes to cater for all ages and abilities. Each athlete’s age for the full competitive year is determined by their age on 31st August. For example if a cheerleader is 8 on 31st August she will be in Minis for the year, even if she will have turned 9 by the time classes start in September. Surrey Twisters founded in April 2011 by Georgie Markwell it is now home to over 85 athletes with 7 competitive teams and a special needs team with ages ranging from 2-22 years old with all abilities. Established in 2008 with just 10 founding members London Eclipse Cheerleading has grown in strength and size. I am going to take a gap year near London and i am an 18year old cheerleader from germany.
I train cheerleading for 9 yesterday now and i have been at worlds at team germany, too…so i really CAN’T live without it.
