Future Cheer Saturday Night Fever competition moving to Bath University

Hi guys

We know all the drama, Future Cheer has been having with their venues selling out.  There has been so much frustration for parents and Cheerleaders alike.

They have announced, they are moving Future Cheer Saturday Night Fever competition to Bath University.

There has already been concern that many northern teams will not attend because of the distance. The distance from Loughborough University to Bath is 2 hour 30 minutes so you can only imagine the distance for other northern teams.

I think some northern teams will not attend this competition but overall this competition is a highlight of the university Cheerleader calendar.

As we are talking about moving to bigger venues, Future Cheer needs to sort out the Winter Wonderland competition. The competition on the Sunday was so pack the announcer had   to repeatedly tell people to squeeze up. I spend that morning guarding my seats, I had same for my friends coming later. Later that day my squad went to support our level 1 senior team and came back and people were in our seats, we had to just laugh.-

What are peoples though on this decision comment below

  1. This makes me so happy!! :D
This means less traveling for my team luckily and Bath is such a lovely place!
This works in my favour, personally, as I have family in Bristol so will be able to buy them spectator tickets, and maybe even stay with them too and save on money that’d usually be spent on hotel costs.
It’s a shame for the Northern teams though, I hope for Winter Wonderland they find someone North to host it to make things more fair?
