Hey guys did watch CMT’s new reality series Cheer! featuring a competitive cheerleading squad of 20 girls from Kenilworth, New Jersey headed up by Patty Ann Romero. I f not, why  not this show is everything Secret of American Cheerleader should have been and wasn’t

 CMT.CHEER SAID  ” will go inside the high stakes, high pressure world of competitive cheerleading with tough-as-nails coach, Patty Ann Romero. Romero’s senior team consists of 20 highly-conditioned athletes capable of jaw-dropping stunts and perfectly choreographed dance moves. When they’re not practicing in their gym, these ordinary teenage girls must balance a grueling schedule of conditioning and competitions along with school and the pressures of everyday life. Romero dominates in the gym, but she’s like a second mother to her team and will do what it takes to make sure they succeed on the mat and in life.”

This show was so good because you get to understand the bond that every Cheerleader has with their team and reason why you call your Cheer team family. You get to see that when one person has a problem you all do and you have to work it out together. You get to see what cheerleaders go through, kicks  in the  head by your flyers, falling  flat on your face when tumbling and how you  have to  get up and keep going  and not because your  forced but because it’s for the good of the team .

The things I really like about this show is the focus is on the sport and the athletes as they train to try and get top 10 at Cheerleader worlds 2012. The girls seem so determine to get top 10 especially because they placed 18 at 2011 worlds and didn’t make second day. If you love Allstar Cheer this is definitely the show for you because you will understand the teams’ determination, passion and hard work as they chase their dream of world success

  1. Hey I was just wondering if it would be possible for you to put up the rest of the Cheer series as i can not watch them on the links provided and they are not available on CMT where i live. Thanks
