Hay guys
What do you think you should have in your cheer bag well here at cheer from head to toe this is what we think you should have in your bag.
Big sport bag: bag with plenty of different compartments so you can stay organised. You ideally, want a compartment for your cheer shoes to keep them separated, wallet compartment and then the rest of your items so everything is easy to find and you don’t waste your time searching your bag and then have to empty it on the floor just to find your keys.
If you’re really serious about cheer it would be good to invest in cheer shoes, keep them in separate compartments if not in a plastic bag because you don’t want you cheer shoes touching everything else in your bag.
Deodorant: is an essential to every cheer bag. We work hard and sweat so the last thing you want when in such close contact with other people is to be stinking. Furthermore make sure you have strong deodorant that last for a while and if you know you have a strong under arms smell get men’s deodorant because it works better.
Water: A big bottle of water is so important because when you have be working; your ass off it is personally the most refreshing thing for me. And so it helps keep your skin looking vibrant and younger, aids digestion, improves your concentration and helps to remove toxins from your body.
Camera and tripod: This is important for two reasons, the first and most important is that it is good to film your self-doing stunts, dance, motions, and jumps and tumbles to see if you’re doing what you think you are doing. Are your toes pointed, is your spacing right and are your motions tight. It is also good to see how close you are to hitting the stunt, helps to keep you motivated. Secondly we have all seen the rise of social networking sites and people showing there cheer talent online so if you film yourself in training you can also show of too. It’s also nice to keep videos of yourself to look back on in later years
socks : We would suggest keeping a spare pair of socks in your cheer bag just in case you ever forget your socks because you don’t want to cheer in just your cheer trainers .
Cheer Bow: It’s always annoying when you get to training and have forgotten a hairband so if you leave an extra cheer bow in your bag you will never have this problem. I say cheer bow instead of hairband because we feel cheer band gets you in the right mind set for cheer training.
Diary: We think the older you get the more important it is to keep a diary with everything you’re doing because close to competition life can get pretty hectic and you don’t want to double book yourself and then let down your team because you can’t make practice.
